Fly Ash Brick

Fly Ash Brick Testing

Moving towards more sustainable construction practices, fly ash bricks are being used to build projects, but the main question arises as to how strong it really is and if it can replace the traditional brick, in fact it can and it is lighter in weight which makes it a great substitute for traditional bricks and this can be used in multistory buildings.

FAQ's

Construction Materials Testing is essential when you undertake a project for building a new structure or amending & improvising an existing structure.
Construction material testing are of two categories: field testing, occurs at project site, and laboratory testing, involves taking samples from the project site back to an off-site lab location for analysis.
To perform this test, we select 20 bricks randomly from brick group and stack them along its length , breadth and height and compare.
There are mainly two types of load testing in building construction – Dynamic and Static Load Tests. In static load tests, the structural members will be subject to a constant load for a certain period of time.
We perform the test three times, and each time the cement is mixed with water varying from 24 to 27% of the weight of cement.
